Biffle on Infineon: "I really do like road course racing. I wouldn't mind if we had one or two more road courses on the schedule just to break up the season a little. We had a really good test at Road Atlanta a couple of weeks ago and I'm pretty excited to get that car out to Infineon. We have a special 3M/Post-it paint scheme this weekend with City of Hope on the TV panel and quarter panel as well. It'll be the first road course with double-file restarts and I'll be honest, I'm a little nervous about that. I think we may see a few more cautions that usual but we'll just need to stick to our pit strategy and hope things go our way."

Erwin on Infineon: "Infineon is usually a two-stop race and fuel-mileage is a big factor in the outcome of the race. We had a good car there last year and we've built a new one for this week that we believe will be even better. We had a successful test with it at Road Atlanta and we think this new chassis is a little better than what we ran last year. Qualifying is extremely important. We need to qualify well, stay up front and use fuel mileage to our advantage and we should have a good race."

Notes

Biffle is still seventh in the point standings following a fifth-place finish in Michigan.

In last year's Infineon race, Biffle took the lead after a well planned pit stop on lap 32 but spun off the track one lap later. He returned to the track in the 30th position and fought his way back to an 11th-place finish.

Biffle was in Raleigh this past Monday to help with the grand opening of the 15,000th Dunkin Donuts.

Rear tire carrier Kevin McDowell and his wife celebrated the birth of their baby boy Blake on Monday around 6:20 pm. McDowell missed the race at Michigan in preparation of the arrival but will be back at the track in Sonoma.

This weekend Biffle will run a special 3M/Post-it paint scheme with City of Hope on the TV and quarter panels.
