Sirius Satellite Radio to sponsor NASCAR Pole Day at Sears Point Raceway.

SONOMA, Calif. - Sirius Satellite Radio has agreed on terms with Sears Point Raceway to become sponsor of pole-day qualifying during the Dodge/Save Mart 350 NASCAR Winston Cup weekend, June 20-23, it was announced by raceway officials.

Pole qualifying will take place on Friday, June 21, and will be known as "The Good Guys/Sirius Pole Day."

Sirius Satellite Radio, based in New York City, offers a new form of digital entertainment for the consumer, whether you're on the road driving or in the comfort of your home. Sirius features 60 channels of commercial-free music, from cabaret to classic rock, as well as 40 channels dedicated to sports, news and entertainment.

"Sirius is a dynamic company that has become very involved in our sport," said Steve Page, president and general manager at Sears Point Raceway. "We appreciate the terrific promotional support that they and Good Guys will bring to this year's pole day."

Sirius will also receive a signage package at the raceway and the right to use the Sears Point Raceway name and logo for mutually agreed upon promotions. Sirius is the primary sponsor of the No. 7 Dodge Intrepid driven by Casey Atwood on the NASCAR Winston Cup circuit.
