Riggs to Run Stanley FatMax Xtreme Tools Paint Scheme in Talladega

STATESVILLE, NC (April 25, 2006) -- Valvoline Evernham Racing, along with partner Stanley Tools, has announced that its No. 10 Dodge Charger will have a new look for this weekend's race at Talladega Superspeedway. Scott Riggs will drive the Stanley FatMax Xtreme Tools paint scheme to highlight Stanley Tools new product line. The FatMax Xtreme line offers 20 bold hand tools that have cutting edge durability and features. FatMax Xtreme tape rules have a BladeArmor coating that helps them stand out 13 feet without breaking. This is the longest stand out of any tape rule in the industry. The FatMax FuBar (Functional Utility Bar) is a three-in-one demolition tool for prying splitting and striking jobs. There is no better place for extreme tools to be introduced to consumers than at an extreme racetrack like Talladega. While the No. 10 crew already uses these new tools, consumers can buy them in stores starting this month.

"I have seen the new FatMax paint scheme in the shop and it is pretty cool looking," said Riggs. "I can't wait to get it on the track with it at Talladega. Anytime your sponsors leverage their program with a special paint scheme, it's exciting. If it was up to me, we would have a special paint scheme every weekend, but this FatMax Xtreme Tools look is pretty fitting for a track like Talladega. The FuBar was about the only tool worth using on my Valvoline car at the end of last fall's race. This weekend we want to keep those tools on the side of the No. 10 pit stall instead of going over the wall to make repairs with them."
