The guests for this week's MCI Teleconference will be Elton Sawyer, driver of the No. 38 Barbasol Ford on the NASCAR Busch Series Grand National Division, and Jay Sauter, driver of the No. 3 GM Goodwrench Service Plus Chevrolet on the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series.

Fans can listen in to the media teleconference via RealAudio on NASCAR Online.

Though he has not gotten off to the start he would have liked in 1998, Sawyer knows that having years of experience under his belt will be to his advantage as the season rolls along. While he is currently in 11th place in the series standings with one top-five and three top-10s, Sawyer feels as though he and the team have yet to show their full potential.

The team will compete next in Saturday's Gumout Long Life Formula 200 at New Hampshire International Speedway in Loudon.

In his second full season with the Richard Childress Racing team, Sauter is still considered by some to be a youngster in and around NASCAR garages. Through four races this season though, Sauter has done a good job at silencing any critics. He is currently in third place in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series standings with one top-five and four top-10s.

The series will compete next in Saturday's NAPACARD 200 at Evergreen Speedway in Monroe, Wash.

The weekly MCI Teleconference is held every Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. EDT and features drivers, owners, crew chiefs and other newsmakers from the NASCAR Busch and NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series. It is usually available via Real Audio on NASCAR Online.
