KASEY KAHNE (No. 9 Dodge Dealers/UAW Dodge Charger) -- 3rd, In The Chase

"We did what we had to do two weeks in a row and we ended up making it in. Richmond will always be a special track for me. I won my first Cup race here and I made my first Chase here, so Richmond has been real good to me. I'm very surprised that Tony Stewart didn't make it in. I never would have thought he would be the one not to make it in. I couldn't have won tonight, but we easily had a top three car all night. It's exciting to be in the Chase. That was our goal when the season started and I'm really happy that we made it.

"We had to take our time early tonight. It's a relief to get in. I'm proud of the team and everybody on the No. 9 Dodge Dealers/UAW Dodge Charger team. I'm excited. It's huge to be in the Chase. It's big for Evernham Motorsports. It's pretty cool. We've done a lot of neat things here at Richmond. I didn't ask anything tonight about the points until I crossed the start/finish line. I just hoped we were in. I knew some guys had some hard times tonight. We were able to have a good Dodge Charger tonight and battled pretty hard. I was hoping we were in and we were.

"Seriously, I never asked once about the points. We were doing everything we could do anyway. I asked when we crossed the start-finish line if we were in or not, and Kenny (Team Director Francis) said we were. We have the most wins, and I think we have a good start to the final 10. We ran first and third the final two weeks, and we're going to take this momentum to New Hampshire and focus on the championship now."

ELLIOTT SADLER (No. 19 Dodge Dealers/UAW Dodge Charger) -- 16th

"Hat's off to Kasey Kahne. I'm really proud of him for making The Chase. I know he really wanted it and it's nice to see him make it. He's a cool customer to be so young. I think he might be one of the guys to watch in these last 10 races. I think he can win it all, and we'll do everything we can to help his team. He's really accomplished a lot the past two weeks. He ran a great race at California, and he did an amazing job on this tight track here tonight."

SCOTT RIGGS (No. 10 Auto Value Bumper-to-Bumper Dodge Charger) -- 10th

"This was an awesome night for Evernham Motorsports. Kasey made the Chase. We are coming home with another top 10 for Auto Value/Bumper to Bumper. Our Dodge struggled early on. We were just too tight in the center and at one point we fell out of the Top 30. But these guys on the Valvoline Evernham racing team fought back, gave me great pit stops and made the right adjustments. It was a good night all the way around."

MICHAEL J. ACCAVITTI (Director Dodge Motorsports SRT Product Planning & Marketing)

"We're very proud of Kasey and all the members of the No. 9 Dodge Dealers/UAW Dodge Charger team for making The Chase. Kasey has done an amazing job the past two weeks. He led the most laps and won last week at California, and he did what he had to do tonight to make it in. It's going to be interesting to see what Kasey and his Dodge Charger team accomplish in these last 10 races. He's won five races this season, and that's more than anyone else on the circuit. I wouldn't be surprised to see him park that Charger in the winner's circle a few more times in these final 10 races."
