JAMIE MCMURRAY - No. 26 IRWIN Ford Fusion (Qualified 30th)

"Our Irwin Industrial Tools Fusion was good in race trim, but we really struggled in qualifying trim. The car was just too tight. Normally when you come to the impound races you fight loose and I got a little loose in my second lap. It was so tight that I was trying to make something happen and I couldn't, but I'm pretty excited for tomorrow night. It's a pretty good car."

MARK MARTIN - No. 6 AAA Ford Fusion (Qualified 4th)

"I'm disappointed that I didn't pick up on my second lap. I tried real, real, real hard. I didn't know the first lap was as good as it was and felt like I needed to get more, so it is what it is. Everybody ran quicker on their second lap. I got a real good first lap, I just didn't know it was good. I was trying really hard. Hopefully that will get us a good starting spot. It doesn't really matter where we start, if the thing will race that good, we'll be OK."

CARL EDWARDS - No. 99 Office Depot Ford Fusion (Qualified 9th)

"For me that was a decent lap. Hopefully that will hold up for a decent spot. If I could do it over again, I don't know if I'd change much. We had the car pretty good and I drove it pretty well without slipping up, so I'm happy with it."

DALE JARRETT - No. 88 UPS Ford Fusion (Qualified 22nd)

"The second lap was a lot better. The first lap I just felt like the front tires didn't grip like I needed to and then the second lap after they got a little heat in them it was better. We might have been down on air-pressure a little bit to run as good as we needed to the first lap, but it came in."

KIND OF DIFFERENT WITH AN IMPOUND RACE THIS WEEKEND. "It's a little different. Last year we were doing a lot of them so it wasn't a big deal. We had to change our thinking a little bit and then practicing right in the middle of the day here and knowing that we had to go to a night race where the track here is gonna have some grip, so there are a lot of things to take into consideration. That's OK though because it's the same for everybody."

DAVID GILLILAND - No. 38 M&M's Ford Fusion (Qualified 24th)

"We weren't super happy with our car in practice. In qualifying there it felt OK, but we went out on sticker tires. I don't know what everybody else is doing, but on the Busch side we scuffed our tires and that seemed to help a bunch. We'll see. I'm looking forward to it. It will be an adventure and it will be fun."

GREG BIFFLE - No. 16 National Guard Ford Fusion (Qualified 8th)

"That was a pretty good lap. I was real conservative. I didn't want to make any mistakes. I felt like I left something on the table there for Busch qualifying and kind of made a mistake, so here I just did a couple of conservative laps. The car is pretty fast, so I wanted to get a good top 10 start. I thought that might have been a little better than that, but I'm happy."
