Elliott Sadler on Richmond International Raceway: "I love racing at Richmond. I've been coming here since I was a kid. It's great to be on this side of the fence and have the opportunity to race in front of my home state fans. I think we've made some progress with our Stanley Ford Fusion in the past couple of weeks and this would be a great forum to get ourselves a top 10 finish and get back on track for the rest of the season. It's hard to believe that after this one there will only be 10 races left. We'd really like to finish the season out strong."

Crew Chief Todd Parrott's Thoughts on Richmond International Raceway: "Racing at night in Richmond is awesome and it's always a lot of fun. You've got to have a really good balanced car there and good drive off the corner. You always seem to be loose up off of Turn 4 there. The keys to success at that track are keeping the car able to turn in the center and not being loose into the corner. You need to start out not being loose in the corner, turn good in the center and have good drive off the corner. That's what you fight at Richmond. In addition, brakes are sometimes an issue there because you use a lot of brake getting into Turn 1.

"The track conditions will change throughout the night because the race kind of starts about dusk and as the night cools down a lot of times the track can get tighter sometimes depending what tire Goodyear brings and sometimes it'll get freer as it cools down and the front gains grip."

Chassis History: The No. 19 RPM team has prepared chassis No. 270 for this weekend's event. This is the same Ford Fusion the team utilized for the New Hampshire Motor Speedway event, the race at Martinsville (Va.) Speedway and the spring event at RIR.

Notes: Emporia, Va. native Elliott Sadler will participate alongside sponsor Stanley in a Habitat for Humanity build on Thursday, September 9 in Richmond. The event is in support of "Hammering for Habitat" promotion which is a partnership between Do It Best Corp, Habitat for Humanity and Stanley Black & Decker.

Elliott Sadler will be doing double duty this weekend when he runs both the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race on Saturday night as well as the NASCAR Nationwide Series event on Friday in his home state of Virginia. In NASCAR competition, Sadler has made 39 starts on the .75-mile Richmond, Va.-area track.
