No. 40 TEAM FACTS:

Richmond Revisited: This will be Stremme's third start in a NEXTEL Cup car at Richmond International Raceway. Last fall in his second Cup start of the 2005 season, the No. 39 Dodge started in the 34th position. After falling a lap down and fighting for NASCAR's free pass, an accident ended the team's hopes for a top-15 finish. Stremme was forced to settle for a 42nd-place finish after spending 44 laps behind the wall.

Richmond Round-Up: Stremme has had six NASCAR Busch Series starts and two NASCAR Cup Series starts at the .75-mile oval. His highest starting position is seventh in a Busch car in 2003 and his highest finish is eighth in 2004, also in a Busch car.

Going Back to Richmond: Stremme fought the handling of the Coors Light Dodge for much of the 400-lap event earlier this season at Richmond International Raceway. When the checkered flag waved signaling the end of the Crown Royal 400, Stremme was 33rd.

David Stremme Quotes:

"We are taking the same car this weekend to Richmond that we had in New Hampshire earlier this season. We finished 11th at New Hampshire and that is my highest finish this season, so I 'm looking forward to going back and getting an even better finish in the Lone Star Steakhouse & Saloon Dodge this weekend. We battled the handling of the car the last time that we were here in Richmond but with this new car we are anticipating a better run this time around."
