"The balance of the car kept going back and forth, but the team did a great job continually making changes and getting us better"
HUNTERSVILLE, N.C. (October 14, 2013) - David Reutimann and the No. 83 Burger King / Dr Pepper Toyota Camry team finished 26th at Charlotte (N.C.) Motor Speedway on Saturday, October 12. As track conditions changed throughout the night, the BK Racing team worked diligently throughout the race to fine-tune the balance of their car allowing Reutimann to bring home another top-30 finish.
"I'm proud of the effort of our Burger King / Dr Pepper Toyota Camry team tonight," commented Reutimann. "The balance of the car kept going back and forth, but the team did a great job continually making changes and getting us better. After the last few weeks that we've had, it feels good to get through the race and just bring home a solid finish. I'm looking forward to getting back on the track next weekend at Talladega Superspeedway. Anything can happen at Talladega, and for us, I'm looking forward to a great race and a solid finish."
The NASCAR Sprint Cup Series will return to Talladega (Ala.) Superspeedway on Sunday, October 20, for their final superspeedway race of the season.
