Regan Smith to replace Kurt Busch in SHR No. 41 once again at Las Vegas

Smith continues his role as the driver of the No. 41 for the third week in succession.

Regan Smith will make his sixth NASCAR Sprint Cup start at Las Vegas and his first in three years this weekend, doing so for Stewart-Haas Racing once again, per a release from the team.

Smith finished 16th and 17th in two previous starts this year driving in the No. 41. He will also be pulling doube-duty at the track as he seeks his first championship in the XFINITY Series.

The team has not yet made a decision regarding who will pilot the car in the races following Las Vegas as Kurt Busch remains on the sidelines due to an indefinite suspension, handed down to him by the sanctioning body of NASCAR.
