After a two-hour-and-fourteen-minute delay for rain, drivers and crews have been called back to their cars and a roll call is under way to attempt the restart of the NAPA 500.

Kyle Petty is the current race leader. Petty, who started at the rear of the field after an engine change, elected to stay out for track position on the last caution period.

The field will restart at lap 26.

John Andretti, in the #44 Cheerios Dodge, is the only car retired from the race, having hit the inside wall on lap 5. Andretti was treated and released from the infield care center, and sustained no injuries.

Top ten at restart are as follows: Kyle Petty (1), Tony Stewart (2), Joe Nemechek (3), Jeff Burton (4), Jeff Gordon (5), Kurt Busch (6), Ryan Newman (7), Michael Waltrip (8), Matt Kenseth (9) and Jimmie Johnson (10).

Inclement weather remains in the Atlanta area. Drivers are hoping they can at least get the race to the halfway point of 162 laps, making it an official race.
