Concord, NC--NASCAR Winston Cup Series' qualifyng has been canceled due to a series of showers that washed out plans from both Thursday evening and Friday morning.

However, showers continued to fall throughout the night and early morning, forcing the cancellation of time trials. The field will now line up by owner's points.

Joe Gibbs Racing driver Tony Stewart has the pole after he took over the points lead last weekend after finishing second in Talladega. Roush Racing's Mark Martin will line up beside Stewart on row one; followed by Jimmie Johnson, Ryan Newman and Jamie McMurray in the top five.

Rusty Wallace, Matt Kenseth, Jeff Gordon, Bill Elliott and Ricky Rudd close out the top 10 starters.

Jerry Nadeau was the fastest of the 19 cars on Thursday evening. Nadeau will now roll off of the grid in 39th on Sunday.
