Hamlin Can Handle Pocono
Busch Wants Better Pocono Result
NEWS, NOTES & NUMBERS: Toyota Camry drivers have combined for four wins (Kyle Busch -- Las Vegas, Bristol and Richmond; David Reutimann -- Charlotte), 13 top-fives and 25 top-10 finishes through 13 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series (NSCS) races in 2009 ... Camry drivers finished second in both NSCS races at Pocono Raceway in 2008 ... Brian Vickers was second in June and former Toyota driver Tony Stewart was runner-up in August.

What does it take to run well at Pocono? "The car means so much at Pocono because any little bit that you gain, the straightaways are so long that you benefit for what seems like a mile worth of straightaway. That's why you see that whenever someone gets it really running well -- they will be three- quarters of a second faster than guys because those long straightaways benefit it. It's just like Indianapolis, as well. You have to have a good balance and have it working in all the corners, but mostly you've got to have it working off turn four -- that last corner - - because that straightaway is so long. You have to have a big motor under the hood to do well there, too."
Are you more confident at Pocono because of your success there? "You're definitely more confident there than somewhere like Dover because I know the feel that I want to feel. Unfortunately, you can't get that feeling with these type of race cars. You still look for the same characteristics, but the adjustments aren't always the same."
KYLE BUSCH, No. 18 M&M's Toyota Camry, Joe Gibbs Racing
What is your outlook for Pocono this weekend? "Hopefully, we can get better results than last year. Especially the first race, we had plenty of issues. We ran a lot better there last August, but ran out of gas at the end. We've brought a different set-up this year to the flat tracks and it's seemed to help so far. We just haven't had any luck there, so I'm hoping we can get that back."
