Heavy rain in Pennsylvania throughout the day has caused the postponement of today's race at Pocono Speedway.

The race has been rescheduled to noon on Monday.

Track drying efforts were made most of the afternoon on Sunday but NASCAR decided shortly after 4:00 p.m. that there wasn't enough daylight time to get the track dry again and get the race complete.

Tony Stewart and Jimmie Johnson were scheduled to start on the front row after qualifying was washed out here on Friday and the starting field was set by the point standings. Stewart will be forced to the back of the field before the race goes green. He switched to a backup car after hitting the wall hard in practice on Saturday.
