Hitachi Power Tools driver Travis Kvapil on Pocono:
"Looking ahead to this weekend and returning to Pocono for the second time this season to race, I think that we can take a lot of things that we tried the first race and refine them a bit. Our car for the Pocono 500 back in June was pretty good, we ran well all afternoon. This time around we have the ability to look over our notes, as well as those of our teammate's, and see what we can improve upon. When we have the chance to reevaluate and go to a track for the second time, we should be a lot better off and I think that's exactly what is going to happen this weekend. I'm excited to get back to Pocono for a second time and turn in a strong performance for our No. 28 Hitachi Power Tools team."
Hitachi Power Tools crew chief Todd Parrott on Pocono:
"The car that we're bringing to Pocono this weekend is actually the same car we tested with and then used in the Pocono 500 back in June. We had a very positive test session, so when we combine our test notes along with our notes from the first race at Pocono, we're confident that we will outperform our race results from June. It is always a benefit to be able to return to a track for a second visit throughout the season and this second half of the season allows us an opportunity to improve upon any elements that we feel will help us. I'm looking forward to this weekend."
Chassis #601 is the chassis the No. 28 Hitachi Power Tools team will be running this weekend at Pocono Raceway for the Pennsylvania 500. This is the same chassis the team last ran at Pocono for the Pocono 500 in June and finished 23rd.
