Robby Gordon's Quotes on the Pennsylvania 500
"First of all, we need to have a better finish this time around," said Robby Gordon. "We punctured a radiator the last race in Pocono and went a bunch of laps down. A 35th-place run really hurt us in the points but we are looking to rebound this time and continue this streak of top-20 finishes. We have not seen the position gains in the points lately that we've hope for, but we have been making up ground on the guys in the 20th to 25th positions.
"I like coming to Pocono. It's such a unique track that fits my driving style. With its three unique corners it makes setting up a car very difficult, and a lot of the time you have to drive a car that isn't happy, and that tends to separate the field. One of the main things you really need to be successful here is the ability to pick up the throttle early in turn 3 and a strong motor to pull you down the long front stretch."

Points Position -- Following the third straight top-20 finish, Robby Gordon and the No. 7 Menards/MAPEI Chevy still remains in the 28th position in Nextel Cup points, a mere 66 points out of 25th and 254 points out of 20th -- which remains the team's goal.
The Pocono Triangle -- Typically referred to as a "roval," Pocono Raceway is one of the most unique tracks that the NASCAR Nextel Cup Series travels to. With its long straights and three distinct corners, Pocono Raceway is a puzzle for most teams and crew chiefs. Crew chiefs and drivers also have to have the horsepower to get down the longest straight-away on the Nextel Cup circuit, 3,740 feet.
