Menard on racing at Pocono Raceway:

"Last time we were at Pocono, we seemed to struggle a bit in turns two and three. We went down a lap, but through some pit strategy on Larry's (Carter) part, we were able to finish on the lead lap. Pocono is the first track that we are revisiting this season, outside of Daytona, which is a different animal because it's a restrictor-plate track. I think the Ford Racing group as a whole has learned a lot since then and should have a pretty good showing this weekend.

"Pocono is a long race, maybe a little too long, but you have a lot of time to get your car better and work your way through the field. Hopefully, we can get the handling a little better than last time and get ourselves a good finish."

Crew Chief Larry Carter on racing at Pocono Raceway:

"Pocono is one of the tougher tracks on the circuit that we setup for during the year. It's a relatively flat track that has three completely different corners. Just because you are good in two of them, doesn't mean at all that you will be good in the others. You have to because you don't setup too much for one and miss out on the others. It's a long race, and we depend a lot on our engines. Doug (Yates) and the engine shop give us great horsepower and hopefully, if we just get our car a little better in turns two and three, we should have a good weekend."
