Pocono II: Greg Biffle preview

Biffle on Pocono: "We should have had a top-10 or maybe even a top-five finish at Pocono in June but we had to pit for fuel late in the race and finished 11th. We've had decent runs there the last few times we've been there but I think we're capable of finishing in the top five if the race doesn't come down to fuel mileage. We needed that top-five finish in Indy last weekend and our goal is to be solidly in the Chase before we even get to Richmond."

Erwin on Pocono: "Obviously Pocono has three very different turns and setting a car up to turn well in all three can be pretty difficult. Exit off of turn three is important for momentum down the front straightaway but entry into turn one is also important to keep that momentum going. Sometimes the handling in one turn can suffer to make the handling better in another but you just have to try to find a happy medium."

Notes

Biffle is 11th in the point standings following a fourth-place finish at Indy.

In the last race at Pocono in June, Biffle led four laps and was running sixth when he had to pit late in the race for fuel.

The 3M pit crew won the Tissot Pit Crew of the Race Award for the fourth time this season after their impressive performance this weekend at Indianapolis.
