Scott Speed was ready for a new experience when he got behind the wheel of the #84 Red Bull Toyota, but the rookie never imagined he'd be buried underneath the rear end of another stock car! Luckily, no one was hurt.

Brian Vickers, No. 83 driver: "Something was getting loose -- I haven't the slightest idea what it was -- if it was a tire or a mechanical piece on the car. Luckily, it happened on the backstretch and I had time to lead into the impact and absorb some of it because it was a really good, hard hit. It's amazing how hard you can hit at short tracks sometimes. We had good car. We were coming back from unfortunately a bad qualifying effort and I'm really proud of the Red Bull guys. I think we would have had at least a good points day, but its too late for that now."

Scott Speed, No. 84 driver: "All of a sudden there was a lot of smoke everywhere and I was right in the middle of it. We saw a spin and we all started stopping and that's where it ended. I tried to slow down, closed my eyes, screamed a little bit - (joking) - and it was all over. Honestly, it happened so fast that I didn't see much. I got out of the car as quick as I could because the 38 car had landed on top of our car and David (Gilliland) was still trying to get it going! I was climbing out of my car and he was spinning his wheels and burning rubber all over me. Luckily, I don't think anyone got hurt in that wreck."
