Dario Franchitti and the No. 40 Juicy Fruit Dodge Team (NSCS) and No. 40 Fastenal Dodge Team (NNS)

Sweet Ride, Franchitti: This weekend the bright and fun yellow color of Wrigley's® Juicy Fruit will adorn the No. 40 CGRFS Dodge. Wm. Wrigley Jr. Company became a CGRFS partner in 2007, serving as a primary sponsor in the NNS and NSCS. This year Wrigley has been serving as a primary partner sponsoring Juan Pablo Montoya and the No. 42 CGRFS NSCS team. This will be Franchitti's first time representing the Wm. Wrigley Jr. Company which is the world's largest manufacturer and marketer of chewing gum.

Rookie Update: Franchitti is now third in the NSCS Raybestos Rookie of the Year race, just seven points (61) behind rookie class leader Regan Smith (68). Franchitti still leads the NNS Raybestos Rookie off the Year standings. With a total of 69 points, he leads fellow CGRFS teammate Bryan Clauson (whose current tally is 52) by 17 points.

Not His First Rodeo at PIR: When Franchitti gets on track Thursday for NSCS first practice it won't be his first time driving a stock car on the 1-mile oval. Franchitti made his third-career NNS start at Phoenix last November, driving the No. 42 CGRFS NNS Dodge to a 29th-place finish (started eighth).

Standings Update: In the NNS owner standings, Franchitti's No. 40 Fastenal Team advanced three positions--into 18th place--after finishing 11th in the O'Reilly 300 last weekend at Texas Motor Speedway. The team is now listed 18th overall, just 93 points outside the top 10 and 280 out of first.

Reed Sorenson and the No. 41 Target Dodge Team (NSCS)

Sorenson at PIR: Sorenson has recorded four NSCS starts at PIR, averaging a 29th-place starting position and a 26th-place finish. His best finish was earned during this same race last April when he crossed the finish line in 15th place (started 27th).

Hometown Boy: Target team transport driver Brian Darr is a native of Arizona, hailing from Tempe. Darr joined CGRFS last season and previously worked with Andretti-Green Racing. He's been involved in motorsports for 11 years. Darr also helps with pit support and is the gas runner on race day.

Rankings Report: Sorenson and the Target team currently sit 27th in the overall NSCS driver point standings. He is 267 points out of 12th place -- the final cut-off position for the Chase.

Juan Pablo Montoya and the No. 42 Big Red Dodge Team (NSCS)

On the hood: The Wrigley's Big Red brand will adorn the hood of the No. 42 Dodge this weekend at Phoenix International Raceway for the eighth race of the 2008 season. This will be the third time this season the driver and team will wear the signature bold colors of Big Red.

Phoenix Test: Montoya and the No. 42 team participated in the two-day NASCAR sanctioned test at PIR on Monday, March 3 and Tuesday, March 4 in preparation for this weekend's Subway Fresh Fit 500. Montoya's 27.385 second lap on day two was the quickest lap posted during the two-day open testing session. He also ran the third quickest time of the entire testing session on Monday morning when he drove around the 1-mile track in 27.454 seconds.

2008 Standings: Montoya and team slipped two spots in the standings to 19th following the Samsung 500 at Texas Motor Speedway. The team is still in the hunt for the "Chase to the Sprint Cup", as it sits just 135 points out of 12th heading into this weekend's race.

Kyle Krisiloff and the No. 41 Polaroid Team (NNS)

Krisiloff at PIR: Krisiloff has competed at PIR two times in his young NNS career. Both runs took place last season in the No. 14 car for Greg Pollex. Krisiloff earned two top-25s both times, finishing 23rd in April 2007 (started 38th) and 25th in November (started 34th). This weekend will mark his fourth NNS start of the 2008 season.

Owner Standings Update: Krisiloff and the No. 41 Polaroid team had a challenging day at Texas Motor Speedway last Saturday, starting 28th and finishing 33rd. The No. 41 CGRFS NNS team is now 29th in the overall NNS owner standings. With a current tally of 531 points, the team is 285 outside the top 15 and 329 outside the top 10.
