The main sponsor for Ryan Newman is definitely on board for the 2013 season. Quicken Loans will be the primary sponsor Newman’s #39 Chevrolet for 18 races in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series chase for the gold.

Newman is still searching for his first Cup title and no doubt he will aim to notch that elusive championship with his sponsor. He commented, "I'm really looking forward to having Quicken Loans back with the team in 2013. Over the past year I've come to know the company well, and learned more about mortgages than I ever thought I would."

I look forward to representing them well through the rest of this year and next.

"They're really into our sport and have engaged with our fans in a big way. I look forward to representing them well through the rest of this year and next," he added.

The largest online lender will be doing a double down next year by extending its partnership with the 2011 championship team with an associate sponsorship on both Newman’s car and team co-owner Tony Stewart’s #14 Mobile 1 Chevrolet.

"We were not sure what to expect with the 2012 season being our first in the sport," said Jay Farner, President and Chief Marketing Officer for Quicken Loans. "What we quickly found was that NASCAR fans are tremendously passionate and loyal to the brands that help drive their sport."

Farner continued, "It was their commitment to our company that ultimately allowed us to significantly increase our involvement with the sport, Stewart-Haas Racing and Ryan Newman.”

The agreement was reached prior to this weekend’s challenging contest at Talladega! Defending champion Stewart sits fifth in the Chase for the Cup. Unfortunately Newman did not make the cut in this year’s battle for the crown; he is 15th overall in the current standings.

“A year ago I said our No. 1 goal for our relationship with Quicken Loans was to make their first year in the sport a positive one that allowed them to increase their presence with our team,” said three time Sprint Cup champion Stewart. “While I wish we could’ve gotten them into the Chase, I’m proud of the bond we’ve formed and look forward to growing it in 2013 and beyond.”
