Dave Blaney to qualify on speed at Homestead

Dave Blaney will attempt to qualify the No. 35 Golden Corral Chevrolet for the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series (NSCS) season finale Ford 400. This will mark Tommy Baldwin Racing’s (TBR) third start at Homestead-Miami Speedway (HMS).

CHASSIS NO. 297 – TBR debuted chassis No. 297 with Blaney at Texas Motor Speedway. Blaney made the show and will look to repeat his success at HMS this weekend. TBR purchased the chassis from Richard Childress Racing this season. Paul Menard drove the chassis prior to TBR.

In The Points | Blaney is still 32nd in NSCS Driver Points. He is 94 points ahead of Andy Lally and trailing Casey Mears by 31 points.

Qualify for the Show | The No. 35 Golden Corral Chevrolet will have to qualify for the Ford 400. There are 48 entries for the event. Blaney will compete against Trevor Bayne, Mike Bliss, Grant Enfinger, Michael McDowell, Joe Nemechek, Scott Riggs, Mike Skinner, Reed Sorenson, Scott Speed, David Stremme, Cole Witt and J.J. Yeley for the eight available starting positions.
