BUSY WEEKEND SCHEDULE AHEAD FOR RUSTY AT KENTUCKY, MIS

"I'm going to leave here tonight after practice and fly over to Kentucky and spend the night," Wallace said. "I'll wake up in the morning and make sure my guys have got everything looking good and organized so when I get in the car I won't lose any time in practice. I'll practice for an hour. After I get finished, I'll fly back to Michigan and qualify the Cup car. I go out 43rd which is real good, so I'll have a lot of time. It starts about 12:10 tomorrow. Then I'll qualify and everybody is happy, I'll jump back in the plane and fly back to Kentucky. Later on that evening at 5 o'clock we qualify the Busch car, have the drivers' meeting and run the race. I'll be back here tomorrow night and sleeping by midnight if everything goes according to plan."

WHY ARE YOU RUNNING THE BUSCH RACE AT KENTUCKY? "I got tired of looking for a guy to fill in for this race. I decided to do it myself. I won't have to pay a driver this way."

HOW WAS FIRST PRACTICE AT MIS TODAY? "Things are going great. I'm real happy with the car right now. We did a couple of things to make the car react different, but if I hadn't made one change and we unloaded and started the race I think we would have been fine. We had a little camber adjustment and things like that. We'll put it in qualifying mode with about 30 minutes left in Happy Hour and block it up and banzai it and that'll be it. We'll get one good strong run in and then I think we'll be fine."
