Fort Worth, Texas (April 8) -- Matt Kenseth grabbed his second win of the season in the 24-hour rain delayed race at Texas Motor Speedway. Kenseth took the lead durint the final caution and never looked back. The team did a two tire change during that final pitstop.

There were a total of seven caution flags in the event, the third flag came out when Daytona 500 winner Ward Burton hit the outside wall. Burton was not injured; however the cleanup took numerous laps, due to a fire under the hood of the Dodge.

Shortly after the restart, the DEI Chevy of Dale Earnhardt Jr. bounced off of the wall after contact with the lapped car of Shawna Robinson.

Robert Yates Racing teammates Ricky Rudd and Dale Jarrett dominated much of the first half of the race. But trouble found the RYR team as Rudd struggled with throttle problems and Jarrett ran out of gas during pit rotation; he ended up two laps down to the leader.

Lap 309 brought out the seventh and final caution flag of the race when Roush Racing driver Kurt Busch cut a tire and spun on track.

Finishing second was Series Champ Jeff Gordon. Gordon and his Hendrick Motorsports No. 24. They grabbed their first top five finish since their victory last year at Kansas.

"This is awesome," Kenseth said in victory lane. "I never thought we had a shot at winning this thing today."
