"We're real excited about returning to New Hampshire. It is a track that we had struggled at in the past and then in the last couple years we have been more competitive. That is a tribute to this teams never give up attitude. We'll go back to New Hampshire and look to run just as well."
- Ward Burton, driver of the Caterpillar Racing Dodge

BURTON ON NEW HAMPSHIRE
"We feel like we've turned the corner at New Hampshire. We ran real well last fall and then we went back in July and won the race. We weren't the best car all day, but we came out the winner after a gamble on tires got us out front. We pitted for tires at lap 200 and then just got fuel only for our last stop. That strategy got us out front and we were able to capitalize on the problems Matt (Kenseth) had.

"I know that track position is key at New Hampshire and we'll definitely try and get a good qualifying lap under us and hopefully be able to race up there all day. We'll have to be careful not to get pushed out of the groove, we did that last race and we lost a bunch of spots."

"We'll have to see what were up against this time at New Hampshire. The track experienced some problems with the pavement coming up, but maybe it will be better with it not being so hot. We'll just have to wait and see. I know they said they wouldn't make any changes to the track until they saw how we raced on it this weekend. I guess we'll know in a couple of days.

CAT EQUIPMENT
The Caterpillar Racing team will return to New Hampshire International Raceway with the same car they won with in July. It is also the same car that they had last week in Richmond where they took home an eighth-place finish. It will carry the flames paint scheme once again.

TEAM NOTES
The Caterpillar team tested in Kansas this week in preparation for the September 29 event. They felt they had a successful test session and were able to learn some things to apply to their speedway program. They had implemented some things during last week's test at Charlotte that they were able to carry over to the test this week in Kansas. Burton was running strong in Kansas last year when a wreck eliminated him from competition.
