TRAVIS KVAPIL, YATES RACING
Valvoline driver Travis Kvapil on New Hampshire:
"I'm really looking forward to racing at Loudon this weekend. I won a truck race at Loudon a few years ago so I feel that it's a track I've had reasonable success at over the years. I also feel that our Fords are going to be very strong at Loudon this weekend. At Phoenix earlier this season and for both Richmond races we had cars with great handling, and since those tracks have very similar characteristics to Loudon, I feel that we'll have a great basis to work off for this weekend. Our team continually strives to improve upon our cars and the amount of information we have each weekend, and after a solid top-20 finish last weekend at Richmond, I think our Valvoline Racing team is going to have a great race at Loudon."
Valvoline crew chief Todd Parrott on New Hampshire:
"We are bringing the same car we ran at Phoenix earlier this season and it actually hasn't raced since then. We had a solid run at Phoenix, which is one of the tracks we can compare notes with when we prepare for racing at Loudon. When we're looking at past notes, the ones we focus on leading into New Hampshire always tend to be our Phoenix notes as well as notes from Richmond. We had a strong car last weekend at Richmond which let us bring home a top-20 finish, but we're looking to have an even better finish this weekend. I feel very good about our chances heading into Sunday, and our team is proud to represent Valvoline since they're the motor oil we always choose to use in our engines."
