RYAN NEWMAN, NO. 39 U.S. ARMY IMPALA SS, met with members of the media at New Hampshire Motor Speedway.

YOUR THOUGHTS ON GETTING BACK TO WORK ON THE CHASE HERE IN NEW HAMPSHIRE. "After a busy week in New York it's nice to get back to the race track. I'm just so proud of the team that worked so hard to get to this point and give us an opportunity with the U.S. Army Chevrolet to go for a championship. I'm just going to do my best with each and every lap. That's no different in the last 10 races than the first 26. Just look forward to the opportunity. Loudon has been a good track for us. We had a decent practice especially in race trim. I think we can go out a bust off a pretty good lap in qualifying."

HOW WOULD YOU WEIGHT THIS RACE TO KICK OFF THE CHASE? "Each race is 10 percent of what you can get so you better get it when you can."

TALK ABOUT THIS RACE AND THE MOMENTUM COMING OFF THE CHASE. "We're in a little different situation than the top four. We had to points race for the last six or eight races to get into these top-12 positions. We have felt some pressure obviously. Now the pressure is off a little bit but at the same time it's still on. It's kind of business as usual for us. I think more so than other teams."
