Texaco/Havoline Racing Fast Facts:
* Chassis #208: Crew Chief Donnie Wingo and the Texaco/Havoline team are bringing chassis #208 to compete in the Sylvania 300 at New Hampshire International Speedway. This is the same car McMurray finished seventh with at Loudon back in July. Chassis #208 has been raced two times this season, posting one top-10 finish.
* The Battle for 11th: McMurray heads into New Hampshire sitting 11th in NASCAR NEXTEL Cup points. While he missed making the cut-off for the Top 10 and the Chase for the Championship, McMurray still is in a tight battle for 11th place in points during the final 10 races of the season.
* Loudon Notes: In three NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Series starts at New Hampshire, McMurray has posted two top-10 finishes. The Joplin, Mo. native has posted six top-five and 15 top-10 finishes through the first 26 races of the 2004 season. McMurray has posted four straight top-10 finishes.
* Double Duty: McMurray will be pulling double duty this weekend in New Hampshire as he will pilot the No. 2 Dodge in Saturday's NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series race before climbing behind the wheel of the No. 42 Texaco/Havoline Dodge for Sunday's Sylvania 300.
Jamie McMurray Quotes:
"Obviously, we're still disappointed with not making the top 10 and getting into the Chase for the Championship. But I can tell you that everyone on this Texaco/Havoline team should be proud of all the hard work that's been put into this season. Just because we're not in the top 10 doesn't mean we're just going to ride around these last 10 races. Our goals now are to win races and hold down 11th place in points. If we can do that, then I feel like we can look back on not making the playoffs and still feel like we've had a successful season."
