Leavine Family Racing to run six of the final seven races this year

The underdog outlet is hoping to end their 2014 season on a high note.

The No. 95 Leavine Family Racing team will compete in six of the final seven races this season, sans Martinsville. The car will once again be piloted by Michael McDowell.

The team has competed in 13 of the 29 events completed in 2014 thus far, finishing as high as seventh in the July race at Daytona. Their last race was the opening round of the Chase at Chicagoland.

This is an important stretch of races for us,” said McDowell in a release.  “We have an opportunity to build our data and information to prepare for the 2015 season.  This season has really been about perseverance for us.  We’ve had a steady course of action and have worked hard to continue on that path in spite of challenges.”
