The No. 60 Hendrick Chevrolet, set to be driven by Kyle Busch this weekend, has been confiscated by NASCAR. Busch was attempting to make his first Winston Cup start at Homestead-Miami Speedway.

The car was impounded after the initial inspection process today. It has been reported that the body dimensions did not match the sanctioning body's template. It was determined that the car could not be fixed at the track and therefore confiscated.

There was no comment from Hendrick Motorsports or Kyle Busch at the time of this report; however, the entry has, at this time, been withdrawn.

Busch, the 18-year-old brother of NASCAR star Kurt Busch, would have been one of the youngest drivers in series history to start a Cup race if he qualified for the event. Busch dabbled in some ARCA and Busch series events this year, and plans on running Busch full time in 2004.

Motorsport.com will have further updates as they become available.
