Travis Kvapil on Kansas:

"Kansas is a pretty quick track that is fairly similar to racing at Chicagoland Speedway. One of the major differences though is that the banking at Kansas isn't as high as it is at Chicago, but we still get pretty fast speeds off the turns. Kansas has had a few years of racing on its track surface now. The groove that we're able to race on has widened out and that gives us drivers the ability to pass and move up and down the track a little easier than other tracks we visit. Kansas is just a great track, I really like racing there, and it's always nice for me to go race in the Midwest because it feels like home."

crew chief Todd Parrott on Kansas:

"Racing at Kansas is very similar to racing at Chicago in terms of the track style. I'm looking forward to this weekend because we're actually taking the same car we ran at Michigan in August where we finished 13th. Based on how we ran at Chicago, along with our finish at Michigan, I'm pretty optimistic and looking forward to this weekend. When we were at Chicago we had a strong car, but unfortunately we got into the wall and it didn't allow us to get the finish we deserved. Kansas Speedway allows drivers to run high or low so it's a track that we enjoy racing at because we have numerous options in terms of what lines to run."

* Kvapil will sign autographs at the Ford Racing merchandise trailer on Sunday, September 28th at 9:30am

* Kvapil has an average starting position of 37.0, and an average finish of 20.5 at Kansas

* Kvapil has completed 533 of 534 career laps at Kansas (99.8 percent)

* Kvapil's best finish at Kansas is 19th which he achieved in the 2006 Banquet 400

Chassis #530 is the chassis the No. 28 Hitachi Power Tools team will be running this weekend for the Camping World RV 400 at Kansas Speedway. This is the same chassis the team ran at Michigan in August for the 3M Performance 400 and finished thirteenth with.
