MATT KENSETH - No. 17 DeWalt Taurus (Qualified 1st)
PRESS CONFERENCE

"I never try to get overly confident because these races are very difficult to win and be competitive in every week, but we've got as good a car as we've ever had. I feel real confident in my car, but performance isn't always enough and the fastest car doesn't always win, so I think we've got a car that can be very competitive tomorrow and run up front, but you never know what tomorrow is gonna bring and what the competition is gonna do and what we're gonna do. You still have to do everything exactly right, so I feel good about it but you never know what's gonna happen in one of these races."

WHY DO THE ROUSH CARS RUN SO WELL AT THESE TRACKS?

"It's everything. I think if you look at it, Kurt won Phoenix and Richmond. I think it's been most of the tracks. The road courses, Tony, I think, beat everybody pretty bad, but the rest of the races I think that it's been a good mix of tracks. I don't think it's just been mile and a half tracks. I think there are questions about that because there are more mile and a half tracks and intermediate type tracks than there is any other kind of track on the circuit, so I think it's been everywhere, but there are a lot of reasons. Right now everything is going great for the organization. We have tremendous engines. Everybody is working well together among crew chiefs and drivers. Everybody gets along good and communicates together really well and works good together, and luckily, we've been able to take advantage of that and have things go our way pretty well this year."

ELLIOTT SADLER - No. 38 M&M's Taurus (Qualified 2nd)
POST QUALIFYING INTERVIEW

"We just need some luck in the racing part of it. I think we're running good to finish in the top five, we just can't find the luck. We'll keep working on it. We're very happy with our qualifying effort. I really wanted the pole, but we'll take second. We're not disappointed by any means. The guys did a good job. It's a brand new race car and we'll go out and try to race them hard tomorrow."

ADJUSTMENTS WILL BE KEY TOMORROW?

"We haven't been in the ballgame at all on the mile and a halves, so for them guys to build a brand new car and us to be as fast as we've been all weekend is a good change. We have to learn how to work on it. Anytime you bring new types of race cars to the track you've got to learn how to adjust on them, so tomorrow is gonna be a learning session for all of us, but we're confident in the car that we brought and we're definitely confident in the motor package we've got, so we're gonna go do the best we can, run off 400 miles and see where we stack up at the end."
