Texaco/Havoline Racing Fast Facts:

* Chassis #307: Crew Chief Donnie Wingo and the Texaco/Havoline team are bringing chassis #307 to compete in the Banquet 400 at Kansas Speedway. McMurray last raced chassis #307 to a fourth-place finish at California Speedway last month. In seven starts in 2004, chassis #307 has posted three top-five and five top-10 finishes.

* Homecoming: McMurray heads into this weekend's race as the local favorite. A native of nearby Joplin, Mo., McMurray considers Kansas Speedway his "hometown track." McMurray finished eighth in his first NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Series start at Kansas Speedway last year.

* Mr. Consistency: McMurray heads into Kansas sitting 11th in points, 36 points ahead of pursuer Kevin Harvick. McMurray has posted seven top-five and 17 top-10 finishes through 29 races this season. He has posted six top-10 finishes in the last seven NEXTEL Cup Series races.

* I've got a Flat: McMurray's Texaco/Havoline Dodge will sport a flat-black paint finish this weekend in the Banquet 400 at Kansas Speedway.

Jamie McMurray Quotes:

Kansas Thoughts: "It always feels good to head back to a racetrack and part of the country that is close to where you grew up. There will be a lot of friends and family in the stands this weekend cheering on the Texaco/Havoline Dodge.

We're taking the same car we finished fourth with at California Speedway over the Labor Day weekend. It's my favorite car and I expect it to run very well this weekend in Kansas.

We were able to make it through Talladega last weekend with a top-20 finish, so now we can focus on these last seven races and the battle for 11th place in points. I feel like we should be strong at all the tracks left on the schedule."
