STATESVILLE, N.C. -- Elliott Sadler and the No. 19 Dodge are sporting the blue and white colors of its primary sponsor Garmin this weekend at Kansas Speedway. Garmin, an Olathe, Kansas-based company and global leader in satellite navigation, is hoping to help Sadler find success in Kansas.

The Garmin Dodge team is excited to return to the first 1.5-mile racetrack since Chicagoland Speedway, where the team turned in a 12th-place finish in July.

"The Garmin Dodge is going to be ready to race this weekend at Kansas," said Sadler. "We are bringing the car that we've had the most success with this season. My crew has been putting in long hours to make sure we are fast when we unload. I'm excited to be returning to a 1.5-mile track. The entire GEM team has run very well on the intermediate speedways this season and we are hoping for a similar result this weekend."

Sadler is coming off a 27th-place finish last weekend at Dover International Speedway.

Elliott Sadler:

On Kansas: "Kansas is very similar to Chicagoland and Las Vegas. It's a big, fast 1.5-mile tri-oval with some room to race. We want to protect our racecar at Kansas since aerodynamics are very important at a track this size. Getting out front early and keeping an eye on track position throughout the race is also important since cars can become very spread out on long runs."

On Finishing 2008 Strong: "The 2008 season has definitely had its ups and downs. We have come a long way since last season, but the next couple races are very important to starting off the 2009 season strong. We keep learning more and more about these cars and are getting closer and closer each week. I really want to get a win for our team right now. These guys have worked so hard all season long and we would love to have one big celebration before the end of the season. That would carry over a lot of momentum into the off-season."

Chassis Info: The No. 19 Garmin Dodge is racing chassis No. 256; previously raced at Indianapolis, Michigan (August) and California (August). Chassis No. 233 which last raced in the Coca-Cola 600 at Lowe's Motor Speedway will serve as the backup.

Sadler at Kansas: In seven previous starts, Sadler has earned one top-five and three top-10 starts. Sadler also has one top-five and two top-10 finishes. He has led three laps in his career at Kansas.
