MEMPHIS, TN (July 1, 2008) -- Today EM Motorsports owner John Carter announced Johnny Sauter will pilot the getFUBAR.com Dodge Charger in both the LifeLock 400 at Chicagoland Speedway and the Allstate 400 at Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Sauter has competed at Chicago on seven occasions (two Cup and five Nationwide) and won the 2002 Tropicana Twister 200 Nationwide Series event while driving for Richard Childress Racing. The Necedah, Wisconsin native competed for the first time at Indianapolis in 2007, driving for Haas Racing in the Allstate 400.

Johnny Sauter, the son of Midwest racing legend Jim Sauter, began his racing career in 1996 when he participated in the Sportsman Division at Wisconsin Dells Motor Speedway. In 2001, Sauter captured both the Series Championship and Rookie of the Year honors in the American Speed Association. Sauter moved to the NASCAR Nationwide Series in 2002, driving for Richard Childress Racing. Sauter competed full-time in the Nationwide Series for five consecutive seasons (2002 -- 2006) capturing three wins (Chicago, Milwaukee and Richmond). Sauter finished a career best eighth in Nationwide Series points in both the 2003 and 2006 seasons.

In 2007, Johnny Sauter was chosen by Haas Racing for a full-time Sprint Cup Series position, driving the number 70 Chevrolet. In 35 starts, Sauter compiled 1 Top-Five finish and 2 Top-Ten finishes while earning $3,139,809. Sauter's consistency and determination paid off as he finished 30th in the 2007 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Championship. In 2008, Sauter has competed in four Sprint Cup events while driving for Haas Racingh Racing.
