TRAVIS KVAPIL, YATES RACING
Hitachi Power Tools driver Travis Kvapil on Indianapolis:
"I'm looking forward to getting back behind the wheel this weekend. It was great to have time to spend with my family, but I'm very excited to get to Indianapolis and the legendary Brickyard. We have a great new sponsor on our car this weekend with Hitachi Power Tools and our goal is to showcase our No. 28 Hitachi Power Tools Ford with a strong performance all weekend long. I feel that a lot of times, teams who perform well at Pocono Raceway, perform well at Indy. A lot of the information we obtained at Pocono for our test as well as the race in June will help us as we look ahead to this weekend's race. Indy is a unique speedway with the rectangular shape and almost flat track surface, but a win at the Brickyard would be something very special to me and this team thanks to all the history associated with the track."
Hitachi Power Tools crew chief Todd Parrott on Indianapolis:
"Indianapolis Motor Speedway is a place I always enjoy going to because it's such a historic facility for auto racing that having a good run there means a lot to a driver and his team. It's such a unique track due to the shape with 2.5-miles of relatively flat track surface. We use notes from Pocono since we've found that is the most similar track on the circuit to Indianapolis. We felt really good about the cars we took to Pocono for a test session earlier this year as well as the Pocono 500, but we also knew there were some opportunities to improve upon. We have Hitachi Power Tools with us for this weekend and our team is ready to go racing at the Brickyard."
