BRICKYARD 400 EVENTS CALENDAR: JULY 22-25

Brickyard 400 weekend is jam-packed with activities, both at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway and around the Indianapolis area. From July 23-25, the stars of the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series will practice, qualifying and race on the historic 2.5-mile oval at IMS.

Here is a calendar of the great events and features of action at the Speedway and around Indianapolis during Brickyard 400 weekend that make the event the most fun you can have at a racetrack.

July 22: Hauler Parade and Festival. Brickyard 400 fans can get an up-close view of the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series "haulers" -- the semi trucks carrying the stock cars competing July 25 at Indianapolis Motor Speedway -- at the second annual Hauler Parade and Festival on Thursday, July 22 on Speedway's Main Street. The event takes place from 5-8:30 p.m., with live music featuring local country music act KJ & TKJ's kicking off activities at 5 p.m. at the corner of 15th and Main Streets -- across the street from popular local restaurant Dawson's on Main. More than 40 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series haulers will arrive at 6 p.m. in parade fashion behind the 2010 Brickyard 400 Pace Car and park on Main Street from just south of 15th Street in two lines stretching to 10th Street. The powerful open-wheel cars of the USAC Silver Crown Series will be in action Thursday, July 22 on the fast .686-mile oval at O'Reilly Raceway Park at Indianapolis. July 23: Chevy Day At The Brickyard. Brickyard 400 fans can enjoy a wide variety of fun activities Friday, July 23 during Chevy Day at the Brickyard at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, including Sprint Cup driver Q&A and autograph sessions, test drives in Chevy vehicles and much more. All Chevy Day activities take place at the Team Chevy display adjacent to the IMS Hall of Fame Museum in the infield.

Drivers participating in Q&A sessions from 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m. include Jamie McMurray, Clint Bowyer, Jeff Burton, Ryan Newman, Juan Pablo Montoya, Jeff Gordon and Tony Stewart. Newman also will sign autographs at noon (wristband required). All Chevy Day functions are included in the Friday general admission price: $10 for adults, with any number of children 12 and under admitted free with at least one adult holding a general admission ticket. July 23: Cook & Belle Concert. A concert by popular Indiana country duo Cook & Belle will start at 11:30 a.m. Friday, July 23 on the Plaza Stage near the Pagoda. July 23: Bridgette Tatum Concert. A concert by Nashville recording artist Bridgette Tatum of Root 49 Records will follow the driver appearances on the Team Chevy Stage near the IMS Hall of Fame Museum, at approximately 1 p.m. Friday. Root 49 Records is co-owned by NASCAR Sprint Cup Series star Ryan Newman and his wife, Krissie. The show is free for all Friday ticket holders. Tickets are just $10 for adults, with all children 12 and under free. July 23: Brickyard 400 Practice. NASCAR Sprint Cup Series drivers will begin preparation for Brickyard 400 qualifying Saturday and the race Sunday during two one-hour practice sessions Friday afternoon at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. July 23: NASCAR Camping World Truck Series. The popular, tight action of the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series will take center stage Friday, July 23 on the .686-mile oval at O'Reilly Raceway Park at Indianapolis in the AAA Insurance 200 presented by J. D. Byrider. July 24: Luke Bryan Concert. The headline act of the music lineup Saturday, July 24 is Capitol Records Nashville singer-songwriter Luke Bryan. The Miller Lite Cars and Guitars concert starts at noon on the Plaza Stage, adjacent to the Pagoda. The show is free for all Saturday ticket holders. Tickets are just $15 for adults, with all children 12 and under free.

July 24: Brickyard 400 Qualifying, Practice. The all-out dash for the coveted pole position for the Brickyard 400 starts during qualifying at 10:10 a.m. Saturday at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. A practice session also takes place from 2-3 p.m., with the final "Happy Hour" from 3:30-4:30 p.m. giving fans a sneak preview of how cars may perform in race trim Sunday afternoon. July 24: NASCAR Nationwide Series. July 25: Chevy Driver Q&As. Three-time Brickyard 400 winner Jimmie Johnson, superstar Dale Earnhardt Jr. and reigning Daytona 500 winner Jamie McMurray will participate in a question-and-answer sessions with fans at the Team Chevy Display near the IMS Hall of Fame Museum. July 25: Casey Jamerson Concert. IMS fan favorite and rising country music artist Jamerson will perform a pre-race concert at 11 a.m. Sunday, July 25 on the Plaza Stage in the Pagoda Plaza. The show is free for all Race Day ticket holders. Indianapolis native Jamerson has shared the stage with countless country stars, including The Charlie Daniels Band, Jack Ingram, Tracy Lawrence, Emerson Drive, Eric Church, Blake Shelton, Craig Morgan, Halfway to Hazard, Ashton Shepherd, Jessica Simpson, John Anderson and more. July 25: Brickyard Beach Bash. Brickyard 400 fans can party on Race Day, Sunday, July 25 at the Brickyard Beach Bash located in the IMS infield, which will feature a sandy beach, swimming pools and more. The Brickyard Beach Bash will start at 10 a.m. off Shaw Drive, near Turn 3, in the IMS infield. It's open to all ticket holders, reserved or general admission. Playboy Playmate AJ Alexander will serve as host of the Beach Bash, which also will include beer pong, beach volleyball, music from DJ Metrognome and more. July 25: Family Fun Area. Families attending the Brickyard 400 Race Day on Sunday, July 25 at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway can enjoy a special new area filled with attractions for children. The Family Fun Area, located near the Family Viewing Mounds adjacent to Turn 2 in the IMS infield, will feature inflatable bouncers, face painters, several interactive displays geared toward children and more. The area will be open from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. and is free.

General admission tickets will be available for Brickyard 400 Race Day -- at a value price of just $40 each -- for the first time at this year's event. July 25: HANK FM Party Stand. A fun spot for Brickyard 400 fans to party on Race Day, Sunday, July 25 is the HANK FM Party Stand in Sections 46 and 47 of the Northeast Vista Backstretch reserved seating area. Tickets for the Party Stand are $49.50 each and also provide access to the Country 97.1 HANK FM Party Area behind the Party Stand.
