10 Johnny Benson moved up to 13th in the NASCAR Winston Cup point standings last week after his 16th place run at Phoenix (highest ranking since he was 11th after race No. 3). Benson comes to Homestead this weekend with the chassis he last ran at Charlotte and also recorded a fifth-place finish in at Michigan in August.

14 Conseco Pontiac driver Rick Mast qualified sixth here at Homestead in 1999 before going on to finish 28th. Mast is looking for his third top 10 of the season this weekend and will do it with a chassis that was built earlier this year, but has never been raced.

18 All eyes will be on Bobby Labonte this weekend as he tries to clinch his first NASCAR Winston Cup championship. The Interstate Batteries Pontiac he'll be in this weekend won the Brickyard 400 in Indianapolis back in August. Labonte tested the chassis here successfully two weeks ago.

20 Home Depot Grand Prix driver Tony Stewart is the defending race winner here at Homestead and has brought a new car back to try to make it two in a row. Stewart was among the many drivers that tested here two weeks ago.

22 Ward Burton has led 409 laps this season, but only one in the last six races. The Caterpillar Pontiac is hoping to get back on track this weekend at Homestead with the chassis he last drove to a 10th place finish at Charlotte.

27 Viagra Grand Prix driver Mike Bliss, who is looking for his first career Winston Cup start here, won rookie of the race honors at Rockingham in week 31 with this chassis.

36 Ken Schrader remained 17th in the Winston Cup points after last week's trouble-plagued 40th place run at Phoenix. Schrader is running the same chassis he ran at Charlotte in October, where he finished 25th.

43 Cheerios/STP Grand Prix driver John Andretti is just 29 points away from climbing back into the top 20 in the point standings for the first time since after the June race at Pocono. He comes to Homestead with the chassis he drove to an 18th place finish at Charlotte.

44 Steve Grissom will try to get the Hot Wheels Pontiac in the show for the first time since he posted a season-best 16th place finish at Talladega in October. This week's chassis is the one the team took to Michigan in August.

45 Kyle Petty will look to make his second start of the 2000 season in the Sprint Pontiac this weekend and 19th overall start of the year. His last time out was at Martinsville where he qualified 27th and finished 31st.

93 Dave Blaney posted a career-best eighth place finish last week at Phoenix and is hoping to back it up with another strong run this week at Homestead. He is driving the chassis that last competed at Charlotte, finishing 28th.
