AMBROSE PREPARES FOR FINAL RACE WITH JTG DAUGHERTY RACING IN THE NO. 47 CLOROX TOYOTA CAMRY

HOMESTEAD, Fla. (November 17, 2010) - For generations, The Clorox Company has been committed to making products that promote cleaner homes and healthier lives.

This weekend the brand will be carried on the hood of the No. 47 Toyota Camry driven by Marcos Ambrose in the season finale at Homestead-Miami Speedway to help remind everyone to take care of their crew during flu season.

"I have two little girls and one of them is in kindergarten and I just learned that the flu is responsible for approximately 22 million missed school days each year," Ambrose said. "That's a staggering statistic. The flu virus can survive up to 72 hours on surfaces like doorknobs and desks. So, we are stocking up on Clorox® Disinfecting Wipes, Clorox® Clean-Up Cleaner with Bleach, hand sanitizer and Kleenex tissues at the house. Also, one best way to protect yourself and others is to get a flu vaccination. Go to www.Clorox.com and find out how to take care of your crew and fight the flu."

"This is my last race with The Clorox Company and I hope we have a great finish on Sunday," Ambrose added.

Ambrose ends his five year journey with JTG Daugherty Racing when the checkered flag falls at Homestead on Sunday afternoon.

"It's been a great journey for me in NASCAR," said Ambrose, who made his NASCAR debut in the Camping World Truck Series with JTG Daugherty Racing at Martinsville Speedway in 2006. "I'm grateful for everything JTG Daugherty Racing has done for me and I wish them continued success in their racing endeavors."

During his tenure at JTG Daugherty Racing, Ambrose has experienced successes along the way. While competing in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series, he recorded six top-five and 12 top-10 finishes. His career-best finish is second-place at Watkins Glen International in 2009.

In the NASCAR Nationwide Series, he owns three Zippo 200 victories also at The Glen. In addition, he has collected four pole awards, seven top-five and 15 top 10 finishes. His first year (2007) in the division, he finished eighth in the championship standings and 10th the following year.

In his brief stint in the NASCAR Camping World Series, he delivered two top-five and four top-10 finishes and one pole award for JTG Daugherty Racing during 2006.

"We won a few Nationwide races and came close to winning a couple Cup races," Ambrose said. "That's the one thing I wanted to accomplish before parting ways. We're down to the final race of the season. We were leading at Homestead last season when we had a flat tire. Hopefully, we can go back there and have a great showing in our final race together."
