Casey Atwood will have a new crew chief at Richmond this weekend. Jerry Nadeau's former crew chief, Tony Furr who recently stepped down from his duties on the No. 25, will take over the top duties on the No. 7 Sirius Satellite Radio Dodge.

Furr worked with the Hendrick Motorsports team since 1998 and has previous experience working with No. 7 co-owner Ray Evernham while Evernham worked as crew chief for Jeff Gordon.

Drivers John Andretti and Jerry Nadeau can both credit Furr on their first career wins, something car owners Evernham and Jim Smith are hoping he can repeat with Atwood.

So far this season Atwood's highest finish is 18th at Bristol and he is 37th in the points standings.

Kevin Cram was released after just three events and was replaced by Buddy Barnes on an interim basis. Barnes recieved his release from Ultra/Evernham Motorsports on Tuesday.
