TNN: The Nashville Network will examine the history of NASCAR's France family, during a two-part documentary, "The Life and Times of NASCAR's Founding Family, Part I & II."

Part I, airing Wednesday, May 6 (8- 9 p.m. EDT), chronicles the life of Bill France Sr. from the beaches of Daytona to the ground breaking of NASCAR's crown jewel, the Daytona International Speedway.

Part II, airing Wednesday, May 13 (8- 9 p.m. EDT), covers the development and continued popularity of NASCAR. The story is told using personal photographs, rare archival footage from Daytona International Speedway and NASCAR and interviews with family members, friends and well-known NASCAR Winston Cup Series drivers from the past and present, including Jeff Gordon, Richard Petty and Dale Earnhardt.

The NASCAR Busch Series Grand National Division Gumout Long Life Formula 200 from New Hampshire International Speedway in Loudon, N.H. will be televised live on TNN at 1:30 p.m. EDT on Saturday, May 9.

The NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series NAPACARD 200 at Evergreen Speedway in Monroe, Wash. will be televised on TBS at 3:35 p.m. EDT on Saturday, May 9.

   The NASCAR Winston Cup Series is idle this weekend.
