KURT BUSCH (No. 2 Miller Lite Dodge Charger) Finished 8th

"It was a decent run for us. We just kept plugging away trying to get to that front pack. When we did find them, those boys were fast. There wasn't much we could do. There's two sets if corners and two sets of straightaways and we did what we could, they just had us in all four sections of the race track. For us to limp home eighth after that damage is beyond expectations.

"I ruined a few Chase guys days, Kasey Kahne and (Greg) Biffle, I apologize to them. I got off of Turn 4 and the car just jumped sideways on m e and then it just flung straight off the wall and back in the groove where everybody was. Everybody has the gloves off with 25 laps to go. That's where our team has been struggling a bit, giving away positions at the end of the race. Our Miller Lite Dodge came home eighth, did the best we could. We're just not hanging with the guys that are finishing 1-2 every week."

PAT TRYSON (Crew Chief, No. 2 Miller Lite Dodge Charger)

"It was kind of a strange day there at the end of the race. It's just the way that these races seem to go. (NASCAR) seems to throw cautions during the race, it is what it is. We had a good Miller Lite Dodge. We thought that we were going to get a top-five and just got jumbled up in that one restart that gave us a fender rub. Our car was pretty good and we battled our way up to the leaders with 25 to go. That's all that you can ask when you start where we did. It's just racing. So all in all, it's not bad to bring home an eighth-place finish."

KASEY KAHNE (No. 9 Budweiser Dodge Charger) Finished 34th

"I was following the 44, so I can't see anything. He (AJ Allmendinger) turned left to miss the wreck and I hit the wreck. I never heard that there was a wreck, so I hit it. We had a top six or seven car. Kurt (Busch) screwed up and we got in his mess. From there, we got in this wreck. It's disappointing to go out of the race like that when we had a good car."

KENNY FRANCIS (Crew Chief, No. 9 Budweiser Dodge Charger)

"Our Budweiser Dodge was pretty good all day. We got our Budweiser Dodge inside the top 10 and thought that we could pass a few more cars on that restart when the 2 car got into us that just caused a chain reaction. We got all tore up, but got the car running pretty good again. We were looking for a good finish when that second wreck happened that finally knocked us out. It was a bummer of a deal to end a pretty good day."

SAM HORNISH, JR (No. 77 Mobil 1 Dodge Charger) Finished 12th

"It was a long day for us, for sure. The Mobil 1 Dodge wasn't what we needed to be early in the race or wasn't what we really needed in the middle. We kept running all day. We got it to the end. We were able to pick up a spot on that last restart. We stayed out of the wrecks and did what we needed to do. That's what we've been saying all along, days that we don't have good days, we need to soldier on and make sure we make it to the end and at least get a top 20 out of it instead of a 35th. Everybody did exactly what they needed to do today. I'm real proud of the guys. We'll work harder and hopefully have a better car when we come back here next year."

DAVID STREMME (No. 12 Penske Racing Dodge Charger) Finished 16th

"We weren't very good all day. We got lucky with the wreck. It is what it is, so we'll just move on."

***

AJ ALLMENDINGER (No 44 Dassault Systems Dodge Charger) Finished 33rd

"Eight laps to go and everyone is racing hard. We were racing hard and just were biding our time and then got caught up in that wreck. I'm proud of all my guys. When you're back in the pack you sometimes get caught up in stuff and today was our day. I saw a hole open up and could see the tunnel, see the end of it and then got hit in the right rear. That's all that it took.

"It's just a racing deal. When you run back there, you're going to get caught up in that stuff. We didn't run well today. I'm proud of everybody on our team. I'm not an easiest guy to keep calm when that happens. The guys just kept working hard. It's disappointing that we couldn't go to the finish."
