KASEY KAHNE (No. 9 Budweiser Dodge Charger)
IS THERE ANY SIGNIFICANT INFORMATION THAT YOU CAN TAKE OFF THE CAR WITH ONLY EIGHT LAPS OF PRACTICE TODAY? "You can learn some and it's better than having zero laps on the track. I wished we had a little bit more time to work on the set-up as far as getting the car to turn and getting our Budweiser Dodge Charger to come off the corners. It's going to make it for a tough weekend."
WITH SUCH A LACK PRACTICE TIME, DOES IT CHANGE THE KEYS TO ON-TRACK SUCCESS TOMORROW? "I think how the car handles getting into the corners is going to be a big part of winning the race tomorrow. We expect plenty of green flag racing and getting the car to handle coming out of the straightaways will be critical."
DO YOU HAVE ANY ANXIETY WITH THE POTENTIAL DELAY OF THE RACE TOMORROW BECAUSE OF RAIN? "Not really. It's just really boring for the driver to be sitting around all day and waiting to race. We just want to drive and be in the car and not sit around and wait on the weather. Everyone's in the same situation so we just have to deal with it and see what happens."
BOBBY LABONTE (No. 43 Cheerios/Hamburger Helper Dodge Charger)
CAN YOU LEARN ANYTHING FROM THE PRACITCE SESSION TODAY? "I think that we did. Man, I wish we could have gotten one more lap out of the session. It's frustrating that we didn't roll off the truck like we wanted to, but I guess it better to get a few laps in instead of none."
HOW DIFFICULT IS IT GOING INTO TOMORROW'S RACE WITHOUT A LOT OF RACE SET-UP INFORMATION? "Well, it's not going to be easy. We'll just have to go back and think about what we did learn from our track time and figure out what changes to make. We'll probably go back to our test session here and at couple other places and see if we can apply that information into a tune-up tomorrow."
