Three teams forced to backups after practice wrecks.

Talladega, ALA. - Three drivers had to pull out their backup cars for Sunday's race following accidents in final practice.

Steve Park lost a tire halfway through the practice session when his No. 1 DEI owned Chevy cut a right rear tire after he ran over debris.

Nearing the closing laps of the morning practice session, Mike Wallace, driving the No 33, cut a left rear tire and lost control of the car with a slew of cars behind him, most were able to avoid the spinning 33. All except for his teammate, Bobby Hamilton.

Both Wallace and Park will drop to the back of the pack before the drop of the green. Hamilton, driving the No. 55 APR Chevy, was previously set to start 43rd for Sunday's race, will remain in that spot.
