Farmers inks three-year extension of current sponsorship with HMS and the No. 5 Chevy
Farmers Insurance announced a three-year extension of its sponsorship of the No. 5 Hendrick Motorsports Chevy and driver Kasey Kahne starting next season.
The Farmers livery will cover the car for 12 races over the next three seasons – including the Daytona 500 – and will continue as an associate sponsor for the additional events.
“We are pleased to announce our continued sponsorship of Hendrick Motorsports’ No. 5 team and are excited to build on the momentum of the last three years,” Mike Linton, chief marketing officer at Farmers Insurance said in a release. “We are also looking forward to involving our fans in the design of the paint scheme for next year’s car.”
“Our team takes so much pride in representing Farmers Insurance and the thousands of agents, district managers and employees around the country,” said Kahne, who has one year remaining on his current contract. “They have such a passion for NASCAR and the sport’s fans. Whether it’s thanking teachers or helping rebuild Joplin (Missouri), I’m honored to be involved with Farmers and the communities they serve. It’s exciting to continue our work together.”
