Carl Edwards, driver of the No. 99 Aflac Ford Fusion, and Greg Biffle, driver of the No. 16 3M Ford Fusion, will represent Ford Racing in the 10- race Chase for the NASCAR Sprint Cup beginning this weekend at New Hampshire Motor Speedway. Both drivers gave their initial thoughts about the chase finally getting started.

HOW DO YOU FEEL ABOUT LOUDON STARTING THE CHASE? "I think it's a good race track. I really enjoy it and have had a lot of success there. Hopefully, we can run like Greg and I ran a year ago. We went in there and Greg won and I finished third and that's what we need to do. We just need to get off to a good start. So much can happen, especially with double-file restarts there. That could be rough, so we've got to stay out of that stuff."

WHAT WILL BE THE BIGGEST CHALLENGE THIS WEEKEND? "I think the double-file restarts and getting our setup right. It's a short race, so qualifying will be important. It's just the regular stuff we deal with at Loudon trying to get track position."

DO YOU GO INTO THIS WITH A BIT OF A CHIP ON YOUR SHOULDER? THERE'S BEEN A LOT OF TALK THAT YOU AND GREG DON'T HAVE MUCH OF A CHANCE TO WIN THE TITLE. "No, it doesn't matter to me. I'm gonna go out and do the same job, which is the best job I can do. If we deserve to win the championship and it's meant to be, we'll win it."

WHAT'S YOUR PHILOSOPHY ABOUT THIS CHASE? "I want to be a smart racer these
last 10 races. That's what I'm gonna do."

GREG BIFFLE - No. 16 3M Ford Fusion -- WHAT ARE YOUR THOUGHTS ON THIS YEAR'S CHASE? "We're gonna do our best. We're gonna re-focus and reach down deep. That's what we did last year and that's what we're gonna do this year. We're just gonna do the best we can."

DO YOU FEEL YOU'RE AN UNDERDOG? "No, because of our performance last year. We're a little bit of an underdog because of our performance so far this year. We're off a little bit, but just don't count us out."

ON LOUDON. "I think it's a great track to start it out. It's a driver's
race track - flat and challenging. You've got to qualify good and you've
got keep track position because it's hard to pass. I like it."

GOAL ON FIRST RACE? "Our goal is gonna be to win every one of them. We're gonna run flat out as hard as we can for 10 races. We're gonna points race by getting the best finish we can and the only way to do that is to run as hard as we can every week."
