Kurt Busch, driver of the No. 97 Crown Royal Taurus, was the fastest car in both practice sessions on Saturday. Busch, who qualified 10th, is 10th in the point standings and trails leader Tony Stewart by 142 points. Busch spoke about his mindset after happy hour.

KURT BUSCH - No. 97 Crown Royal Taurus

WHAT DO YOU THINK ABOUT TOMORROW? "We're shaping up pretty good. The car is fast and we've made some good adjustments today to sort out tight versus loose and the car is looking good for tomorrow. I hope we can gain some points."

WHAT IS YOUR MINDSET WITH NINE RACES TO GO? "Go fast in each one of them. It's hard to keep that pace through nine races but we're gonna try. We're gonna do everything we possibly can to gain some points and go fast. So far in two practices we've been fast in race trim and that's what it takes, you've got to be fast on Sunday."

YOU HAD A MULLIGAN IN ATLANTA LAST YEAR. DO YOU THINK LAST WEEK WAS YOURS FOR THIS YEAR? "I hope so. Hopefully we can go through nine races now with just nice, consistent finishes and build our points back up. We can't go and get the points lead after next week, so we just can't stretch ourselves too thin."

A NICE MESSAGE TO SEND TO EVERYONE BY BEING THE FASTEST IN BOTH PRACTICES. "The car is fast. I'm driving hard. This is a tough way to go about it being behind, but for nine weeks we've got to race as hard as we can." HAS THE TRACK CHANGED MUCH? "It's pretty cool today so it's nice for speeds, but tomorrow I'm sure it'll be sunny and the temperature is supposed to go up, so the track will be harder to get a hold of tomorrow."

WHAT DID YOU AND JIMMY FENNIG TALK ABOUT? "We're just working on trying to get the car to turn. We always run good the first portion of the race at Dover, but we get a tight condition at the end, so we're trying to make sure we adjust for it."

IS THIS TRACK ONE OF THE TOUGHER ONES ON THE CIRCUIT? "This one is tough. It changes sporadically throughout the race with rubber build-up, and when you come here and test to try to prepare the track is so green. It's fresh and you can go fast, so this one changes quite a bit. When you can be dialed in on lap 300, you did your homework."

IS THIS MORE DIFFICULT THAN OTHERS? "This is where you race the race track. You really don't worry about your competition. If you race the track here, you can end up with a better result. There are only a few tracks like that. You don't really see many multi-car accidents unless it's after a restart or something like that."

IS PIT ROAD THE BIGGEST HAZARD YOU HAVE AT THIS PLACE? "There are tight quarters on pit road. They've got the horse track here and whether it's just to keep the casino open, I don't know, but they could make some changes to make pit road bigger for us with the pit boxes and just the length of when you pull out - you're always running into somebody because there is only one lane. It's very tough. We picked a pit box towards the end so there's less chance of running into people."

WAS IT A TOUGH WEEK FOR YOU? "We tested Charlotte all week, so we were busy all week just trying to keep on top of our game and stick with our plan."
