MATT KENSETH - No. 17 DEWALT Power Tools Taurus (Qualified 4th) - "I thought my lap was pretty good. I hope the track is a little slower than what it was, I don't know. I thought I got everything out of it the first lap. We missed on the setup just a little bit, but it was a pretty good lap for us." IS IT AN ADVANTAGE OR DISADVANTAGE TO GO OUT SO EARLY? "I don't know. We had a real fast car. I mean, the track might pick up a little bit here, but at least it's over with."

GREG BIFFLE - No. 16 Grainger Taurus (Qualified 15th) - "I just didn't have as much grip. I probably drove it in too hard and overdrove the corner. We had a lot better car than that. It's unfortunate. I think I just overdrove the corner a little bit. The car got a little loose in and then it was tight across the middle and leaving. I thought we had a chance for a top five starting spot again here in a Cup car, but that will probably be back in the twenties."

KURT BUSCH - No. 97 Rubbermaid Taurus (Qualified 7th) - "That's a decent lap - nothing too spectacular. That's a good effort for us as far as qualifying at Dover because we've been in the top 10, so that will be a good place to start. You can never slow down here. You're always right on the edge of slipping a tire or stepping out. Sometimes the groove gets real wide, but the guy that wins the race is right on the bottom. This place plays tricks with you and you've got to be solid." HOW DO YOU FEEL WITH THIS CAR? "We ran this car earlier this year at Bristol and we took the tape off of it and that actually woke it up a little bit. Hopefully, it will do the same thing at Dover."

BRETT BODINE - No. 11 Hooters Taurus (Qualified 34th) - "It's a small victory (making the race). We had so much problem in practice and I hate the fact that we didn't get to show what I think we could have done. I think we easily could have qualified midfield, but we didn't get a chance to make a mock qualifying run because we had a problem. Then you kind of lose confidence in the car and the track is going away. We just didn't put a very good effort in, but we're gonna make it on speed. Now we're gonna do our best to have a good race car on Sunday."

ELLIOTT SADLER - No. 38 M&M's Taurus (Qualified 17th) - "I'm pretty disappointed in it. We've just kind of been struggling a little bit this morning in qualifying trim and that's not gonna get us a good spot. This car has usually been racing well this year. It raced well at Rockingham and Darlington, so the M&M's Ford Taurus will be fast come Sunday. We'll just make a few changes on it and see what happens."

TODD BODINE - No. 54 National Guard Taurus (Qualified 21st) - "The car has just been a little tight up off the corner all day and we never figured out exactly what it was. We made a small change to qualify and it was better. We ran the same speed and everybody else has slowed down a little - not everybody - one guy went faster, but that was a good run. That's not what we'd want. We want a pole and we want to be up front, but that's good enough to put us midpack and it's a long race."

DAVE BLANEY - No. 77 Jasper Engines Taurus (Qualified 26th) - "We were just too tight to have a good run there. We fought being way loose early today and kept tightening it up. It kept going faster, faster and faster so we didn't want to free it back up for qualifying. We just wanted to leave it safe and that's about how we ran. Maybe we should have went after it a little harder, but we struggled so bad early that we didn't want to take a chance."

RICKY RUDD - No. 21 Motorcraft Taurus (Qualified 24th) - "It was not a bad lap. Most of the guys ran quicker during the morning practice, but that's not too bad. We just left a lot of speed on the table. We had a real late exit push that we had in practice and never could get it out of the car. It did it again in qualifying, so I had to lift the throttle coming in the straightaway and that just kills you at Dover. I know we left about two to three tenths on the table. If it wasn't for that, I would be real happy with the run but I know we left some on the table. Anyway, I think we'll have a good race car."
