Carl Edwards on racing at Dover International Speedway:

"Dover has been one of our best race tracks, and we had an amazing effort last week at Darlington with a 15th-place finish with a very slow race car. I was really proud of everyone for really digging in and getting everything out of it that we could. We're hoping to take a lot better race car and set up to Dover this weekend so that we can run really well, and hopefully earn some more points to get us further up in the Chase. Right now we are still building."

Crew Chief Bob Osborne on racing at Dover International Speedway:

"Dover is a tough track. It's really unique and different from any other track that we go to. I think it's probably one of the more physically demanding tracks on a driver, but Carl and the Aflac team are up to the challenge. In recent years the 99 program has had some success at Dover, and we got a top-10 finish there last spring. The car we are taking ran well at Bristol this spring so hopefully it will run even better at Dover."

* ON THE TRACK... The No. 99 team will be unloading chassis RK-596 this weekend. This is the same Ford Fusion that Edwards raced at Bristol in March and finished sixth.

* STANDINGS... Edwards maintains 11th place in NASCAR Sprint Cup Series point standings. He trails leader Kevin Harvick by 277 points.
