DODGE GARAGE NOTES -- Sterling Marlin led four times for 51 laps at Talladega in his No. 40 Coors Light Dodge Intrepid R/T. It was the first time this season Marlin has led the most laps, but he's run out front in all nine races this season. Marlin has led 27 times for 246 laps and has collected 50 bonus points for laps led. He's tied with Jeff Gordon and Mark Martin for most bonus points. Marlin and Martin are the only drivers who have led laps in all nine races in 2001. Marlin ranks fifth in the series standings, 47 points behind second-place Gordon and 192 points behind leader Dale Jarrett.

Dodge driver Ward Burton led the most laps in the Daytona 500. He led nine times for 53 laps. Eight of the 10 Dodge drivers have led laps this season.

Bill Elliott (Daytona 500) and Stacy Compton (Talladega 500) have won poles in Dodge Intrepids this season.

Ward Burton is the only Dodge driver who scored a top-10 finish in last year's Winston Cup race at California Speedway. Burton finished sixth. He's finished sixth in two of the first four events at the two-mile track.

Buckshot Jones scored his best finish of the season (16th) at Talladega. Jones started 23rd and finished 23rd in last year's Busch race at California Speedway.
